You may only use this site for information purposes or to make legitimate reservations or purchases and please do not use this site for any other purpose. These terms and conditions contain all the terms which we have agreed in relation to the use of the Website. Please note that all bookings are subject to our general terms and conditions. Any arrangements made between you and any third party named or referred to on the Website are entirely at your sole risk and responsibility.
We are an Singaporean registered company therefore the services we offer and all aspects of these terms and conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Singapore. Any contract concluded on this website will be concluded in the English language only. We cannot give any assurances that the information on this website complies with the laws of any other country. Any disputes that may arise between us will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

When You Book

To make a booking you must be at least 18 years of age and able to create a binding legal contract. You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of booking are correct. You must carefully read the relevant Booking Terms and Conditions before booking any holiday arrangements. You agree to be bound by these conditions.

Conditions of Carriage

The carrier companies that provide the transportation for your travel arrangements produce conditions of carriage which form part of your contract both with us and with the carrier companies. You may ask for copies of the relevant conditions of carriage from our offices.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change or modify these terms at any time. By browsing this website you are accepting that you are bound by the terms and disclaimer that is current at that time, so you should check these each time you visit our site. These terms are separate from the Booking Terms and Conditions that must be accepted by you before we agree to arrange or offer any products and services to you featured on this website.

Cruise 1st Singapore Booking Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as you are bound by them when you book and travel on any product sold to you by Cruise 1st Singapore Pte Ltd. Additional conditions issued by suppliers of travel related products other than Cruise 1st Singapore Pte Ltd may also apply, for example supplier cancellation fees.

Prices

All prices are subject to availability at the time of publication and are per person and quoted in Singapore dollars (SGD$). Bookings can only be made by a person aged 18 years or over. All passengers who, at the time of departure, are under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Prices are subject to change at any time and your holiday cost may be subject to additional surcharges (such as fuel surcharges) being made even after full payment has been received. Air tickets will be guaranteed when full payment is made for this item.

Not included in prices
Passports, visas, vaccinations, tipping and cruise ship gratuities (unless you have chosen to pre pay), laundry, some meals and beverages unless specified, shore excursions and optional tours, porterage, travel insurance, excess baggage charges.

Deposit
Deposits vary by cruise line, date and duration, any airfare may also be due at the time of booking, please speak to one of our reservations agents for more details. All bookings/reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking and if the deposit is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking / reservation. A fee of SGD$50.00 will apply for any reservation that requires rebooking or amendment in any way, in addition to the mandatory deposit.

Payments
Pending the type of cruise reservation final payment is due between 6 and 15 weeks prior to departure from Singapore unless stated otherwise on your invoice. For late bookings i.e. normally within 15 weeks of departure or where the supplier requires full payment, you will be asked for a higher deposit or the full payment at the time of booking (A Late booking fee may be added if required by the supplier of your travel arrangements). Some travel services require immediate payment in full or final payment to be made up to and exceeding 120 days prior to departure.

Payment Methods
All payments must be made in Singapore Dollars (SGD$) and all cheques must be drawn on a bank within Singapore. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express & credit cards. Payments are subject to a non-refundable administration fee, which is a percentage of the value of the transaction. Booking administration fee may apply from nothing to 3% depending on the type of holiday package. We reserve the right to change the administration fee. We also accept bank transfers and direct deposits and details will be listed on your invoice. Your credit card company or bank may impose a cross border fee for credit card transaction, this fee will be borne by the card holder. Once a credit card transaction is approved, we will not be able to cancel the transaction.

Tickets and Documentation
Tickets and travel documentation will normally be issued two weeks (14 days) prior to departure based on your confirmed departure date. Tickets and documentation will be sent by email. Delivery by regular postal service or express post courier may incur postal charges. If you have not received your tickets a week (7 days) prior to departure please contact us immediately using the contact details provided below. Please check your travel documents carefully upon receipt, and advise us immediately of any error. If You Cancel Your Holiday
You may cancel your booking/holiday at any time. Written notification by email is required and this will be noted in your booking upon receipt.

If a holiday is cancelled, Cruise 1st will charge a $100 per person cancellation fee, plus any costs charged by our suppliers. We recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking which may reimburse unforeseen cancellation fees.

Please ask our consultants for the specific cancellation fee schedules of the supplied components of your specific package.

Refunds cannot be processed until any expenses incurred by us, such as supplier fees are confirmed and may take up to 12 weeks to process, unless advised otherwise. Any change to the original departure date after full payment has been received by us, will be considered an amendment and may be subject to the amendment fee.

**In this paragraph 'Deposit' means the amount payable on booking or on any subsequent amendment which may on some occasions be up to 100% of the price.

Requirements to travel
Passports, visas and vaccinations are your responsibility. Without the necessary passport, visas and/or vaccinations, local authorities may deny you boarding, prevent you from going ashore, issue a fine or deny the ship entry into the port. Passports are required and must be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the date of return travel. Guests who do not possess complete and valid travel documentation maybe prevented from entering a country and therefore may not be allowed to board the flight and / or the ship and may also be subject to fines.
NO REFUND OR COMPENSATION WILL BE GIVEN TO INDIVIDUALS WHO FAIL TO ABIDE WITH THE REQUIRED TRAVEL DOCUMENTS.

Singapore citizens travelling to:
a. USA are required to complete Visa Waiver form via https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov prior to entry to the US.
b. Singaporean's are required to apply for an Australia visa via the Electronic travel authority prior to entry to Australia. Please visit www.immi.gov.au to check your eligibility for these services.

For China Citizens boarding an Asian Sailing:
All Chinese passport holders will not be allowed to sail on an itinerary with 2 consecutive Chinese ports as per China customs regulations. Entry permit (EEP) is required for Chinese guests entering Hong Kong. All guidelines provided are subject to change, at any time without prior notice. We strongly recommend that all guests verify visa information with the embassies/consulates of the countries they are visiting and to obtain all visa's in advance. NO REFUND OR COMPENSATION WILL BE GIVEN TO INDIVIDUALS WHO FAIL TO ABIDE WITH THE REQUIRED TRAVEL DOCUMENTS.

 

Travel Insurance
It is highly recommended that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance including the coverage for loss of deposit, cancellation fees and amendment to your holiday at the time of booking. We strongly recommend all travellers to have sufficient cover for any medical expenses that may be incurred during their overseas travel. Cruise 1st Singapore Pte Ltd can assist with a quote if required.

 

Health, Visa & Immigration Requirements
It is the passengers own responsibility to ensure they have current valid and continuing travel documentation including visas for all countries they intend on entering or transiting through. Passports should be valid for at least 6 months after returning to Singapore. Visa and health requirements can be confirmed with the relevant embassies and/or consulates prior to travel. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa, vaccination or immigration requirements.

If We Change/Cancel Your Holiday
Occasionally we may have to make changes due to cultural, environmental or commercial reasons and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you at the earliest opportunity. We also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your holiday. For example if the minimum number of persons required for a particular holiday is not reached, we may have to cancel it. However we will not cancel your holiday less than 6 weeks before departure date, except for reasons of force majeure*. If we are unable to provide you with the holiday booked, you may choose an alternative holiday of a comparable standard, if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value) OR a credit for the value of the holiday to be redeemed within 2 years of the original date of departure. Please note that carriers such as airlines may be subject to change, this is deemed as a minor change. Other examples of minor changes include alteration of your outward/return flights by less than 12 hours or a change of airports to another in the same city or region, changes to aircraft type, change of accommodation/vessel to another of the same standard. We reserve the right to make adjustments to the advertised itinerary, cabin choice, bedding configuration, meal timings etc to take into account passenger safety, comfort and enjoyment which may include weather conditions. 
The Captain Ship/Aircraft must at all times have concern for the safety of his/her passengers and crew, therefore has overriding discretion at all times to act as he sees fit. In no circumstances shall we be liable for any consequence arising from adverse weather conditions experienced during your holiday. On board cruises, sea areas controlled by vessel traffic, schemes, canals, rivers and other navigable waterways may be subject to delay due to operational circumstances and/or requirements of local authorities. The Captain of the Ship has the right to alter the itinerary in any way he sees fit and we cannot therefore be responsible for any failure to meet arrival/departure times for any port of call.
* Force majeure means that we have to cancel or change your holiday due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. These include for example, war, threat of war, terrorist activity and its consequences or the threat of such activity, riot, the act of any government or other national or local authority, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather, sea and ice conditions.

* Force majeure means that we have to cancel or change your holiday due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. These include for example, war, threat of war, terrorist activity and its consequences or the threat of such activity, riot, the act of any government or other national or local authority, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather, sea and ice conditions.

Pregnancy Policy
All pregnant guests are required to declare their condition upon booking. If pregnant guests have entered, or will be entering, their 24th week as of sailing period, they will not be allowed to board the ship to take the cruise. A physician’s fit to travel note stating that they are in good health, not a high risk pregnancy, and not entering the 24th week during the cruise duration is required for all pregnant guests.
NO REFUND OR COMPENSATION WILL BE GIVEN IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION DUE TO PREGNANCY

Infant & Minor policy
Infants sailing on a cruise must be at least 6 months old as of the first day of the cruise and/or cruise tour. For transatlantic, transpacific, Hawaii, select South American and other selected cruises and/or cruise tours, the infant must be at least 12 months old as of the first day of the cruise/cruise tour. Guests who are 21 or older may book a cruise however no guest under the age of 21 will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. This age limit will be waived for underage married couples (proof of marriage is required at check-in) or minor children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms.

Minors aged 17 or under at the start of the sailing must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. Minors traveling with their parents or legal guardians must be booked in a stateroom physically adjacent (directly next door, or directly across the hall) to their parents or legal guardians. Adults who are not parent or legal guardian of any minor child travelling with them are required to present the child’s valid passport and applicable visa (or certified copy of the childs birth certificate) and an original affirmed or notarized letter signed by at least one of the child’s parents/legal guardian. 

The notarized letter must authorized the traveling adult to take the minor/s on the specified cruise and must authorize the traveling adult to supervise the child and permit any medical treatment that must be administered to the child which in the opinion of the treating doctor needs to be carried out without any delay.

A letter can be affirmed or notarized by the solicitor, notary or commissioner for oaths for an applicable fee. If such evidence is not produced, the minor(s) concerned will not be permitted to board the ship or undertake the cruise.
